We've experienced a short delay folks

Not too good with staying on top of this whole blogging thing anymore....
In a quick 5 photo summary from my phone, here's what I've been up to.
I recently volunteered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. I was able to see a few movies, some better than others. What was really fun was getting two tickets to go see Nicole Kidman receive an honoree award. I took my mom :)

The Panel from a media distribution conference here at UCSB that I attended. It was really interesting, but I'll spare the details for perhaps another time.

This was a little dangerous on my behalf.. I probably will not ever take another picture while driving, but while coming down the grapevine, this was the most vibrant rainbow I have ever seen! I don't think the picture does it justice.
THis is my cousin Joseph in an intense game of Jenga we got into this weekend at Nana Isham's house. I think we got to 31 and 2/3 levels!
And I saw this little image while taking Maddie out for a walk with my mom and two little cousins. Megan and I decided this Sycamore leaf was the last tree star and that Little Foot and all of his friends were pretty much doomed.

The twinkle in his eye

Those we have loved shine on.
We look at the night sky
in the quiet of darkness,
and they are never far.
Those we have loved and cherished,
those who have changed our lives
in some small or profound way
are closer than we know,
because it is their light
that shines on our world.
It is the brilliance of their souls
that makes our night sky glow.
