I volunteered at the Save the Waves film festival this weekend and I was able to get my dad into the VIP tent where he repayed the favor by buying some raffle tickets. To our surprise he won a new surfboard and decided to leave it at my place... looks like I'm getting a new hobby!

Hello blogoshpere
Long time no blog. I will use this time of procrastination to at least still feel some what productive.
So here's my current life in quick "type-bytes":
Last year at UCSB.
Back living in IV.
Clocking up the miles with ol' Unis.
Mural painting the 66 block of DP.
16mm filming.
Counting down to the holiday triple F: FAMILY FRIENDS AND FOOD! ( ...and football)
Until next time,
CHRISTY almost NEVER

Redball Finds Love
Here is a project from the first animation class I took in March. I finally converted it from a bunch of still frames into a movie file.
The asignment was simple, make a 7 second clip where a ball enters on the left and exits on the right, we had complete creative control. Everyone's individual clips were then edited together for one long Redball short. "Redball" has a bit of history at UCSB, it has been growing for about 28 years now with some quite notable alumni. Here is my contribution:

I slowed this one down a bit from the original 7 seconds.
